BLACK BEAR Greeting Card
This Black Bear greeting card is a major favourite among the people who follow my work. His calm curious demeanour gives him a very lovable look. I think that is why people love him so much, instead of seeing him as a scary bear, he’s curious and lovable. Another one of my first pinnacle drawings, his legacy of lacking a background but still showing some vegetation can be seen in the drawings I make today, This handsome guy is perfect for hunters and those who love to just observe the nature around them. He will make an excellent card for all wildlife lovers.
I absolutely love drawing bears. They fascinate me and also scare me (well the Grizzlies). I was only able to see black bears in my last month of living in New Brunswick. We were driving the airport, and there was a mother walking down a hill on the side of the highway with her three adolescent cubs. I wish we could have stopped but unfortunately not. This just means I will need to make a special photography trip just to see them again.
