black-capped CHICKADEE FINE ART PRINT

This little black-capped chickadee is 2018 drawing so quite new! I was experimenting with this guy using a different kind of paper. I used a sanded paper, that basically is like drawing on sandpaper. It made an interesting effect which I will do again in the future.  Chickadees are lovely little birds and it was a species I had to draw right away. They are friendly and very curious and I just adore watching them look at the trees for any available food. What is interesting about this drawing was I didn’t just draw a random branch I wanted to add some interest which I did by adding the dry pine cones. I find these cones add a lot of interest to the Chickadee artwork.

This little guy is a perfect gift for anyone who has a special fondness for these little birds, or for someone who loves nature in general. He is a great and interesting addition to a home.
